The projects in which the CRC is involved have led to active collaborations with numerous university laboratories in the Île-de-France region, for example at the University of Cergy Pontoise (LPPI, ERRMECe), the University of Versailles Saint Quentin (DYPAC, ILV), Université Paris Saclay (LIMNC), Sorbonne Universités (notably the Collegiuim Musicae), Paris Sciences et Lettres (ESPCI), Université Paris-Est Créteil (LISA, IFFSTAR), Université de Poitiers (XLIM), etc.

In addition to these academic collaborations, the unit maintains close professional links with various research institutions (IRHT, C2RMF, IRCAM, LISA, SOLEIL) and heritage institutions (Institut national du Patrimoine, Bibliothèque nationale de France, Archives nationales, musée du quai Branly-Jacques Chirac, école de Chaillot, école du Louvre, etc.).

Finally, the CRC is a member of the ERIHS network, which is currently being set up.

Internationally

Because of its position at the interface between the humanities and the physical sciences, and the variety of heritage assets covered by its field of research, the research unit has no equivalent at European level. These two aspects give it a high profile internationally.

For example, the CRC is taking part in two European projects: IPERION CH (MOLAB mobile analysis platform), and NEMOSINE (design of packaging materials capable of capturing VOCs).

The CRC also collaborates with several foreign institutions: the University of Padua (DIM MAP thesis), the Institute of Archaeology and the University of Shaanxi (FSP Franco-Chinese thesis).

Finally, the CRC participates in the organisation of meetings and colloquia (ICOM CC, ICOM CIMCIM, SFIIC days) and the publication of collective works (e.g. "Instrumentation portable. What are the challenges for archaeometry? Editions des archives contemporaines, Sciences archéologiques).
